HATE SPEECH: HOW HATE WORKS

HOW HATE WORKS:

Hate focuses on what divides us rather than what unites us. If there are Qur’anic verses that for example say Muslims should love and care for Christians, the hate merchants will focus on where Christians are called “infidels”. If on the other hand there are verses in the Bible that say “love your neighbour as yourself”, the messengers of hate will focus on “what fellowship does light have with darkness?”

There is nothing you want to justify with the scriptures that you won’t find. If you truly have love in your heart, you will focus on the verses of love. The God that forbade eating four-footed creatures is the same God that ordered Apostle Peter, in a trance, to kill and eat! To the pure all things are pure.

And this is how prejudice works:

Because Chief Obafemi Awolowo did not declare Oduduwa Republic in solidarity with Biafra in 1967, every Yoruba is a traitor — including the one that was just born.

Because an Igbo chap was arrested for 419, every Igbo person — dead, living or unborn — is a fraudster.

Because one “Aboki” struggles with spoken English, every northerner is an illiterate; in fact, no northerner has a brain.

Because of the insane activities of ISIS and Boko Haram, every Muslim is a terrorist, including your friend.

Tragically, there are people that the only thing they can see in you is your language or religion, not the content of your character.

Let me quickly say this, it is very difficult to resist the message of hate and prejudice in a society already polluted by manipulative politicians, their overpaid sidekicks. I know.

When everyone else seems to be saying there is casting down, it is very difficult to go against the grain and say there is lifting up. You just go with the flow. But maybe the “casting down” gang is not as big as the “lifting up” brigade — just that the latter has been intimidated into silence. They must begin to speak out.

After all, Rome was not built in a day. Those working hard to destroy Nigeria seems to neither sleep nor slumber.

As for me and my house, we resolved long ago that we would never feed our children with hate, prejudices and biases. These things are usually passed on from generation to generation. I resolved to follow the example of my grandmother by celebrating the best in others rather than focusing on their worst.

I would rather talk about the dignity in labour you find among the Hausa, the creativity among the Igbo and the industry among the Yoruba.

Accuse me of living in denial and I will accuse you of living in bitterness. Accuse me of being politically incorrect and I will accuse you of being self-righteous. Accuse me of being naïve and I will accuse you of being jaundiced. It’s all in the mind.

PRESS RELEASE. UPDATE ON SITUATION IN KONSHISHA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF BENUE STATE

UPDATE ON SITUATION IN KONSHISHA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF BENUE STATE

The attention of the Defence Headquarters is drawn to numerous publications in the media and other online blogs reporting massive killing and destruction of houses and other property by the military in Konshisha LGA of Benue State. The Defence Headquarters which has oversight responsibility for Operation WHIRL STROKE deployed to maintain peace in Benue, Nasarawa and Taraba States, has deemed it necessary to refute these spurious allegations and put the records straight.

There have been incessant cases of communal clashes in recent times between the people of Konshisha and Oju over boundary demarcation. As part of efforts to resolve the crisis, the Benue State Government held series of meetings with stakeholders from both local governments with a view to arriving at amicable solution to the problem. Appreciable progress has been made and a final date fixed for all stakeholders to meet in the disputed areas to fully demarcate the boundary so that peace could reign. Trouble however started on the eve of the final meeting during Easter holiday, with reports that fresh fighting has broken out in the area.

All along, 72 Special Forces Battalion has troops deployed on the Oju side of the boundary and troops of the Battalion were on their way to replenish their colleagues on 5 April 2021, when they were attacked by armed bandits at Bonta in Konshisha. The troops who were under command of a Captain were seized at a checkpoint mounted by the so called “Bonta Boys” and taken into Konshisha forest where they were all brutally murdered. Not satisfied with killing the soldiers, the bandits proceeded to burn all the eleven soldiers and their officer beyond recognition while their weapons and ammunition were carted away. Military reinforcements were dispatched to Bonta the following morning. Unfortunately, the reinforcement also came under attack from close to 500 armed youths who by this time had fully occupied Bonta. The sheer number of youths involved in the attacks suggest that the armed bandits cannot be from Bonta alone, but were joined by bandits from other parts of Konshisha LGA. The military repelled the attack after more than 4 hours of intense fighting during which military helicopter provided close air support to ground troops. Ten armed bandits were killed during the fight with the rifle of one of the Killed in action soldiers recovered from the bandits who fell casualty during the exchange of fire.
The Defence Headquarters wish to put it on record that apart from this initial 10 bandits, there are no other civilian casualties recorded in any part of Konshisha till date. We therefore challenge anybody from Konshisha to present to the public the 200, 70 or 30 dead bodies of innocent persons, male, female or children killed by troops in Konshisha. There was never a massacre as being touted by some mischief makers.

The remnants of the armed bandits that escaped from Bonta withdrew into neighbouring villages where they kept on attacking troops as they continued with the search operation through Bonta into other parts of Konshisha. Knowing the implications of killing troops in cold blood, most of the villagers fled their homes which were then occupied by armed bandits who kept firing at troops from the settlements as they advanced into Konshisha. Troops repelled the attacks and destroyed the houses and other buildings which the criminals used as hideout for the attacks. The use of abandoned settlements by armed bandits to attack troops is popular with insurgents. The aim is to draw military fire into the dwellings and then turn round to blame soldiers for the destruction. This is common guerilla tactics armed bandit designed to whip up public sentiment against security forces and this is what played out in Konshisha. This accounts for some of the burnt houses being reported in the press. Some of the phones of the dead soldiers were also tracked to some of the settlements. We should therefore blame the armed bandits for the destruction since they used these settlements as hideout for attacks. It will be wrong to blame soldiers who are in Konshisha on legitimate duties when some of them were murdered in cold blood. Some of the buildings being paraded today were actually burnt during earlier communal clashes between Konshisha and Oju, all of which the sponsors of the mayhem are now blaming on the military.

Finally, the Defence Headquarters wishes to state that soldiers deployed to Konshisha displayed commendable restraints by adhering to the rules of engagement in the face of unprovoked attacks and therefore deserve accolades. In addition to the return of all carted away weapons, the local leaders of Konshisha must bring the main actors responsible for the mayhem to security forces to face justice. They must also surrender all other weapons in their possession. The military will not tolerate the jungle justice attitude and dastardly acts leading to the gruesome murder of patriotic soldiers on legitimate duty to keep the peace. We look forward to working with the Benue State Government in its promise to support security forces in fishing out those fomenting trouble in Konshisha. Once again, there is no massacre in Konshisha and the stories making the rounds are fabricated by bandits and their sponsors to smear the military after murdering troops in cold blood.

Please disseminate this information to the public through your news medium. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tesla Car: Catch Cruise as some men took electric car to petrol station

After Some Men Took Tesla Car To Petrol Station, See How People Blasted Them

Nigerians were not happy with what transpired between some Men and the Attendants at a Petrol Station in Lagos state. According to a video shared by @234Drive, the Men in discuss decided to test the intelligence of Staffs at an unidentified petrol station in Lagos by ordering the Attendant at the Petrol Station to fill up the tank of an Electric Car.

To them, they only wanted to test the knowledge of these Attendants about the Tesla electric Car, however, they were bashed and criticised by Nigerians who saw the video, because people felt it’s a kind of embarrassment to carry an electric Car to a fuelling station just to mock the ignorance of the staffs at the Station. Some people felt it’s unfair to toy with the emotions of the workers by ordering them around to look for the Fuel Tank Spot, when the Car has none.

Many people felt they could have done better and showed that they are really intelligent beyond monitory considerations. In contrast to the blunt criticisms, some other Twitter Users felt what these guys did was not bad as they were just catching cruise and having the fun of their life without any dirty mindset. Many of things were said about the Video as some focused on how the Owners of the Car will be maintaining and charging it due to the bad electricity shape in Nigeria and also the lack of professional who will be able to handle or repair the car if anything happens to it. Peep at some of the reactions below.

1. “Whoever thought of this idea is foolish

The person that gingered it to happen is mad

4. “This car plenty for Amsterdam. I counted like 20 within an hour.

My concern Na for where una dey charge am? Naija get light? U get the charging station for your house? Abi na mikano u take dey power the charge station?”-@iamchekzi

5. “What’s the meaning of “you no know say na Tesla be this?” How were dy supposed to know? You drove the car there knowing fully well it’s electric. You could have ended the video on a good note by enlightening them, not trying to make them look stupid. Very pointless video”-@Donslique1

6. “I honestly thought people would be shocked at there being a Tesla in Lagos because of the lack of wall outlets.

But people are shocked cause of its price and I’m really confused because we see G Wagons and Brabus branded cars here everyday. Teslas cost like half their prices.”-@Leonard_Nonso

7. “I’m ashamed of you guys!.Check the handler, it’s like a car blog page! There are several cars more expensive than this car in lagos. This is just creating content at the same time letting them know about the electric car. I’m sure the attendants are excited to see an electric car”-@The_Man_Yuki

8. “If I was the fuel attendant I wil pour small fuel on them.. shebi dem wan use me catch cruise make we run am together nahh”-@Timmydennyd

9. “Bunch of dunces, you knew it was a Tesla, yet you took it to a petrol station, asking for it to be filled with petrol. Na una pocket them suppose pour the petrol put. Mumu”-@fivga

10. “Classic example of you can have all the money in the world but you can’t buy class. This is really distasteful to say the least.”-@Oroboghene

11. “They’re obviously not literate enough to know it’s an electric car. You just made a fool of yourself and not them

This video has to relevance”-@JagunJagun6

12. “This should have been funny if you had used a better storyline and proper actors and made it in form of a skit. Now, it’s just some cringe-worthy crap.”-@ofochebe

13. “So you just went there to embarass the petrol attendants?”-@Lyvinston

14. “You took arguably the most unreliable Tesla ever made to a fuel station in order to mock the sellers. Don’t worry. You won’t be driving that Tesla to mock people very soon.”-@ObinnaOssaiCHS

15. “Nah, this doesn’t make any sense. You just wasted his time. I mean unless you paid for his time and efforts fine if not this is wrong”-@Hay_Hi_Tee

Insecurity: Bandits destroyed in Nupeland

KINNUPE THE BANDITS GRAVEYARD
By Ndagi Abdullahi Amana Nupe

Yesterday the news broke out on the social media that over 40 bandits were killed by Nupe Vigilantes at Kutigi. And the conventional media reported that the Governor of Niger State has approved the arming of vigilante groups to combat bandits.

Actually, bandits are being successfully killed on a daily basis throughout KinNupe without the news making headlines.

A recent widespread claim is that the Nupe people will spiritually neutralize and physically kill any bandit that make the mistake of invading KinNupe. That claim is now becoming a reality.

That claim was fueled by unconfirmed reports that over 200 of the first batch of bandits to invade KinNupe were secretly killed and burnt to ashes by Nupe witchdoctors and Bocizhi in Lavun.

Whatever the truth might be, the point here is that KinNupe is going to be the mass grave for the bandits that have been terrorizing Nigerians.

If any Nupe community or society decides to deal squarely with any bandit group, we Nupe people possess the superior spiritual powers that can be harnessed to destroy the bandits effortlessly.

If the Gbagyis, the people of Borno, the Hausas and other people of Northern Nigeria had recruited the services of Nupe spiritually fortified vigilantes earlier, the menace of banditry in the North would have been curtailed long ago.

Our religious leaders should please continue with their prayers in the mosques and churches – but this is the time to let Nupe Spiritualism destroy the bandits.

This is the time for Nupe to save Nigeria!

Want to start a business? Look at some businesses that thrill in students areas.

Starting a business is usually the toughest aspect of business as there are many factors one must consider before starting/running a successful business in this part of the world. Many individuals has rushed into business and run out within the space of 1 month because the result isn’t as they were told or expected.

Some of these factors include but not limited to:

Location/Demand: Location plays a vital role in the success of a business. Personally I usually group location and demand under one sub-heading this is because location is influenced by demand. Before starting a business in a particular area you must consider how many people that will be needing your services and that’s demand. Take for instance you can’t establish furniture business in a school environment and expect to boom. Have you considered how many students that have the resources to buy those expensive furniture?

2. Capital crisis: There are many businesses out there that demands high inflow of cash into it before it can stand firm, example, Hotel needs steady cash inflow to run its daily activities but a hostel owner only run yearly check/repair.

In this article I will be exposing you to two common business that excels in school environment due you need capital to kick off.

1. POS Business: Some individuals underrates people that run POS transactions but these guys are making cool cash everyday without too much eyes placed on them. School environment is always filled with people so getting customers isn’t a problem at all. This business as a starter you can keep off with capital ranging from 200-500k depending on your wallet.

2. Cyber cafe Business (Printing, photocopying, typing and so many others) This is a hot business in school Area once you’re computer literate you’re good to go. It’s requires much more capital but you can start off in a small way. Get a Container body and procure one good laptop, Printer and photographing machine. (Fortunately some printer are equipped with photocopying ability.

3. Barbing: Although this business requires skill but it’s paying once you know what you’re doing. Students don’t play with their look and also considering popular you will be busy throughout the day.

Their several other wonderful businesses to start in school environment and boom within a short period of time. Lets discuss them in the comment box below.

Being successful in ones endeavour boils down to determination but other facts are also important as it helps to shape one.

Some of 28 wisdom tips on how to read people

1. Don’t be fooled by popular sayings. For instance, they say that a person who scratches his/her nose may be lying. Some people may do that when they are lying but you wouldnt be certain. Sometimes when some lie, they do smile and intentionally start biting their lips to cover.

2. If you want to know if people are actually lying, look at their eyes. Our eyes are extremely powerful! For example: ask someone why he lost something and look at his eyes and his whole body. If he blurts it all out without taking the time to remember and his eyes dont wander around to remember what he had actually done, then he’s probably making up a story or they bring up something totally irrelevant to try to make you forget that you actually asked the question.

3. Be a good listener: To deduce information out of anyone just listen and ask questions. You’ll be surprised by what you hear.

4. To deduce secrets out of people, act like you understand them and dont judge. This trick has benefited me alot and I have gained many close friends when I do that! You should start off by asking questions then you listen. Look deeply in the person’s eye but dont be creepy then share something about yourself that’s weird then wait and listen.

5. Everyone wears a mask to protect themselves from being misunderstood or judged. The key to getting what you want from people is to TAKE OFF YOUR MASK!

6. Sometimes people will make it obvious that they dont like you or are irritated by you. Don’t be oblivious to the signs. If the person is not looking at you while you are talking but doesnt seem like he’s thinking about something, then he’s probably irritated by you.

7. When you are approaching a person and suddenly they take out their phone, leave instantly. That doesnt always mean that they dont like you but if you are blabbering about something and they aint showing you the slightest interest then leave.

8. When someone is irritated by you and shows it, then you act like you know that and you stop giving them any attention, they actually come back and start talking to you. It’s actually very weird but people hated feeling like they’re disliked by someone especially when that someone is the person they disliked before! Weird, right?

9. People who take up the most space when sitting down are the ones you shouldnt really mess with. They’re the ones that walk in a room and look directly to the place they want to sit in. They walk as if they’re walking on air. Dont mess with them.

10. When you are a new comer to a group of people, please observe each one and you’ll notice patterns. There is always the friendly person who introduces you to the group. Sometimes that’s the same person who’ll ditch you to be with the leader of the group. You’ll also come across one who’ll tell you all about each person in the group and he’ll start whining about something he dislikes. Don’t trust that person. The one paying you the less attention is the one who is the most powerful in the group.

11. Ask people for favours sometimes. They’ll like you even more when you do because you’ll make them feel important.

12. Share things about yourself but be mysterious. People like an air of mystery!

13. Look at how a person treats their parents and siblings. This actually shows the parts of themselves that they tend to hide when they are talking to you.

14. Sometimes when a person is irritated, they scratch themselves alot or tilt their heads. It depends on the person but you have to observe everything.

15. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Some people have a resting bitch face and they come off as cold or arrogant.

16. Increase in pauses and less blinking are main indicators of lying. Also, remaining unnaturally still is one of the indicators. This is due to the cognitive load. However, we are all individuals so look for the change of behaviour in the person you’re dealing with.

17. Watch out for the “funny jokes” your squad say about you because usually this is what they say behind your back!

18. Even shy and quiet people have many bad things to say about others but they keep their mouths shut. Give them the opportunity to say those things when you show interest and you listen to them.

19. Look out for signs someone is lovebombing you! Dont fall for the attention anyone gives you because once they stop, you’ll become frustrated.

20. Anyone if given the chance, can become a “bad person”. People can become who they never ever wanted to be! We are our worst enemy! Just take a look at some politicians and world leaders. Take a look at all the murder done by powerful people!

21. Support people’s social identity. Everyone wish to be someone else. The ideal self! Search for that and support it by giving compliments or asking for help.

22. In any relationship, the person who acts like he/she doesnt care, has more control.

23. When you show weakness, you bring out the lion in everyone, even people who you presume as weak. You’ll often find that people who are considered weak by others are constantly critisized, taken advantage of and bossed around.

24. Everyone has a person who they value. For example: tell a secret to a person you value and he might tell it to a person whom he values more.

25. Never take sides when other people are fighting. You’ll be the boss because when other people are taking sides, you’ll be watching from above. No one can hold anything against you!

26. You’ll never win an argument with pseudo-intellectuals (someone who pretends to be more intelligent than they are), so just act dumber than they are.

27. You will not always be anyone’s cup of tea but when you ask for favours from people who hates you, they will respect you more.

28. When one-day someone acts like they like you and the other day they ignore you, it has a tremendous effect on you because you expect attention and care all the time. That person makes you wonder, Is it something you did? Is it who you are? You start thinking about that person. The person becomes powerful to you because he doesnt want you or need you. If you give someone too much attention and care, you’ll repel them but give them moderate attention and care and they’ll be attracted to you in the long run.

These are 12 signs someone is extremely jealous of you

It feels so amazing and fulfilling when you achieve a new feat or a goal you have the desire to reach for so long. It might have taken you sleepless nights finances and sacrifices. It might interest you to know that some people feel the opposite way when you achieve these things. Even when you announce your achievements, some people show support and excitement, but then there are others or someone who develops cold feet toward celebrating with you.

These people might act like they are your friends, but the sad truth is that they find comfort and even pleasure in your pain. There is an excellent level of jealousy in these people to bring you down is impossible means. Some of the causes of the given situation are inferiority complex and heightened covetous desire. To be frank on the issues of jealousy, everyone has an atom of it. There is a feeling of inferiority that comes to you, and someone achieves something more significant than what you have done.

Also, you feel like you deserve it more, especially when you think you are smarter. It’s natural with everyone, but you don’t try to ruin what the person has achieved. Instead, you are motivated or push to get yours or even do better. But the people we are talking about a level of jealousy takes the biscuit because they make conscious efforts to drag your achievements through the mud for them to rise.

It would be best if you were wary because they don’t come up expressly as enemies; instead, these people are your friends. Spotting these jealous friends and trying to cope with them is a daunting task. In this article, I am going to share some signs that someone is envious of you.

#1 – Making Your Achievement Look Trivial

Sometimes it takes you an enormous input of effort time and other resources to achieve something, but someone tries to trivialize the achievement. Probably a friend who even knows you went through thick and thin to achieve the goal. It is a perfect indicator that the person is not happy about your achievements. When you notice such friends, you have to learn to stay reserved when you are around them. Try as much as you can not to share your plans or goals with them because they can go to any extent to see that you don’t achieve them but even make it look not good enough.

#2 – They Are Copying You

When someone tries to copy your ideas not just little thoughts but your career ideas and other vital things that you are using. Beware because the person might be the course of taking what would have given you the sense to draw it to himself. When you notice someone trying to plagiarize your ideas, you can go and patent. The next time makes sure you hide vital information from such a person.

#3 – Fake Flattery

When someone is jealous of you, false flattery always comes from them. They might tend to praise you even beyond what you know your worth. Some people do that to motivate others, but on the other hand, people who are jealous of you see sweet things right before you but when you go out of the room mockery follows. Always try to follow your instincts to pick up such people you can always ask friends what such people say about you behind your back.

#4 – They Magnify A Mistake and Gloat About It

Even when you make a tiny mistake or face a small loss someone jealous will hastily come to remind you of their warnings against what brought about the error. If you observe well the little feeler you face makes them feel happy and satisfied. To effectively deal with this you shouldn’t allow the blame game to affect you provided you get back on track keep moving and you must get to your destination.

#5 – They Leave You When You Achieve Your Goals

Many people have successfully driven, and they come close to you when you are failing or when you are in turmoil. The funny thing about people who are jealous of you is that they come close to you when you are failing. Such people do so not to encourage you, but instead, it makes them feel better seeing that you’re not making any progress. When you start making progress, they disappear into thin air because your success causes them a significant upset.

#6 – They Overemphasize Their Achievement

Remember the point about jealous people making achievements of trivial they’re very good at blowing the results of even when it’s not much. Doing this is just trying to make you feel that they’re better, but since you have proper self-awareness, you can listen to their false stories and move on with your life since you know your worth.

#7 – They Try to Compete with You

The sky is big enough to accommodate everyone who can fly. People who are jealous of you tend to make everything about you, and they look like a competition. When you succeed, they think you’re occupying their spot. They try to outrun you even with toxic means, including picking out the little flaws you have trying to use them against you.

#8 – They Feel Bad When You Plan Without Them

You might wonder why these jealous people feel bad when you exclude them from your plans. It’s not because they want to be part of your success but because they have something fantastic to offer. Instead, they want to sow tar amid your seed so that you won’t sow high.

#9 – They Always Talk Behind Your Back

When someone is jealous of you, such a person is swift to tell lies and spread rumours about you. In any case, something that about a false witness is that he can’t stay hidden. It moves so quickly and comes to you when you notice someone is spreading rumours about you. Avoid such a prison because when people see you with that person, they believe the lies because you are always together.

#10 – They Feel Happy When You Fail

Trying to achieve something and then you stumble underway, this is a scenario they are always ready to see. When you fail, you notice they feel comfortable and not concerned talking about what happened to you.

#11 – They Always Mock You

Perhaps you have a weakness or some sort, someone who is jealous of you always finds a way to remind you of your shortcomings. They do so to make you feel bad about the situation. Believe me, once it’s something you have no control over, continue doing your thing and watch them swim in the endless rule of jealousy.

#12 – They Talk Down to You

Trying to believe you can make it, you can crack the head nut and overcome any challenge, but then this person shows up to tell you how weak and unqualified you are. Jealousy has taken part of the person, and you must snub the side talk and go all out for what you believe.

Well, those are 12 signs that someone is envious or jealous of you. So what’s your opinion about this? I hope you enjoyed reading this cool article? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.

WILL UNIVERSITIES BE NEEDED IN THE NEXT 15 YEARS ?

WILL UNIVERSITIES BE NEEDED IN THE NEXT 15 YEARS
The Federal Executive Council recently approved more universities, and established more Polytechnics and Colleges of Education while Tesla, Apple, Google, Netflix and some multinationals announced that effective 2021, university degree will not be required for hiring.

Google is also developing a new suit called Google career certificates which is intended to help young people get qualifications and skills for high paying jobs without university degree. The suits is tailored for the millennials to learn in-demand skills online in 6 months and will be globally recognized as equivalent of a traditional university degree.
The question is, in the next 15 years, will certificates be required for most jobs of the century?

2.0 ARE CERTIFICATES OVERRATED IN NIGERIA?
University degree is highly overrated in Nigeria and I have resolved that I will make attending university optional for my children. I will rather counsel them to acquire globally in-demand skills and certifications.

Anyone that wants to panticipate in global jobs of the future must learn computing skills, data analysis and fluency in at least 2 international languages. High paying jobs will likely be in cybersecurity, business development and sales, robotics, computing and programming, data analysis, automobile, creative arts, football, tennis, basketball and similar skills.

For young Nigerian entrepreneurs that want to have a startup, there will be future opportunities in logistics, food value chain, blockchain technology, Fintech, tourism and hospitality, transport and clothing.

3.0 WHAT SHOULD NIGERIA DO?
Our university curriculum is obsolete, we teach no skills and the laboratories are 19th century. You can’t use 19th century solution to solve 21st century problems.

The world is a global village and we must follow the global trend to be global citizens. We must also change our curriculum and improve teaching of computer skills in the universities.

Today’s children are born with their devices and more sophisticated than the previous generations. I advise our millennials to work ahead of our curriculum and prepare themselves to be global citizens, shikenan.
He that has ear to hear, let him listen to the future.

Story! Story!! Story!!!

My name is Tony Michael, I own a company, none of my staff knew me as the owner except the Manager and the Secretary. (I had told them not to disclose my identity).

I don’t usually go for a visit.

One day, I visited the company and I saw my Ex wife, who had thrown me out of my own house. I asked the Manager and he said she is one of their staff.

I instructed the Manager to promote her to Personnel Officer, gave her a car, a bungalow, garden boy, security and other emoluments. An undeserved position though, of which he did.

A month later, I went there as a job seeker. As soon as she saw me with my application and CV, she rejected me outright, threw my application at my face, and immediately retrieved it from the floor and tore it to pieces and threw it into the waste bin. After regaling me with all my past, she informed me I would never get employment nor an opportunity at the company. Also, she swore on heaven and the earth that all this would happen. She boldly declared that the only way I’d get employment at the company was over her cold dead body.

I came the following day with another application and went on my knees to beg her, but she refused and spat into the waste bin and said even if I was the only bridge to cross to come to work, she would opt for a boat and called the security men to throw me out, so I left.

On Monday, I went to the company in my real identity and entered her office with the Manager who introduced me to her, she quickly knelt down crying and begging me, “the proposed rejected bridge.” She informed me that her entire family depended on her for survival. If her employment was terminated, she added, life would be absolutely horrendous not only for her but also her entire family. She even promised to remarry me.

We both stood there motionless and speechless which left the Manager befuddled.

Many things started racing in my head. Should I call for the police? Should I strip her of her current position to her former position? Should I cancel the unqualified benefits given to her? Should I accept such a woman back?

I’m still standing at her office indecisive.

If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
THERE IS TOMORROW

Whenever you are dealing with people, you must always remember that there is tomorrow and you might néed them tomorrow. You may end up needing help from the people who are asking for your help today, so help as much as you can.

Life is like a moving wheel, sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down. Sometimes we destroy the bridges that we might need to help us cross back tomorrow. Sometimes we treat people as though there is never going to be tomorrow. We sometimes act as though we will never need help from anyone. Remember there’s tomorrow.

Joseph helped the cupbearer in prison and later the cupbearer connected Joseph with Pharaoh. Imagine how Portiphar’s wife felt when she heard that Joseph was now the Governor of Egypt, after she had falsely accused him. The brother who sold Joseph away ended up being fed by him. Don’t ever think of going to the extreme with your offenders, they might be rescuers tomorrow. Always remember that there is tomorrow and it will surely come.

The little help you give to people today, will profit you tomorrow.
May the good Lord touch your heart to live your life knowing that there is tomorrow.

In Everything You Do, Always Remember That,There Is Tomorrow.
Have a blessed day…….Plse share to others for them to know that THERE IS TOMORROW*

Lauren Streicher , M.D., an associate professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. However, she says, some women have a wider (or more narrow) vagina than others, which is totally normal. “Body parts are different sizes in different people,” Streicher says. “Someone who has had vaginal births before is going to be different from an 18-year-old virgin.”The average diameter of the vagina is between two and 3.5 centimeters, says women’s health expert Jennifer Wider, M.D., so anything larger than that could technically be a “wide-set vagina” in Mean Girls -speak. With smart phone, you make money online

How To Make Money Online With Your Smartphone

No-risk matched betting

Hands down the quickest way to make a lot of money (well, without breaking the law). Lots of students have genuinely made £100s from this technique. It’s completely legal, risk free, tax free, and anyone over 18 in the UK can do it (Not in UK? Skip to no. 2).

It works by taking advantage of free bets regularly offered by betting sites through ‘matching’ them at a betting exchange. Matched betting eliminates the risk (you are betting both for and against a certain outcome).

This leaves you being able to squeeze out the free bet, which can be as much as £100. Multiply this by how many betting sites there are and you can quite easily come away with a profit of a few hundred pounds.

Owen walks you through how to make your first £13 profit (using a real life example) in this gem of a guide to matched betting. If you know of any better way to make £40/hr sitting at home, please let us know!

Online surveys

An increasingly popular way for students to make money is to fill out online surveys in their spare time. Research companies are always recruiting new members worldwide to answer surveys and test new products.

For a few minutes of form filling, you can make a couple of quid which is paid as cash or rewards. You can bag up to £3 ($5) for some surveys!

A few good ones to try are: Toluna, LifePoints, InboxPounds, Onepoll, i-Say, Opinion Outpost, Panel Opinion, The Opinion Panel, YouGov, Pinecone, SurveyBods, Hiving, Panel Base, Prolific, Valued Opinions, Survey Junkie.

Also sign up for Swagbucks which rewards you for surveys as well as simply surfing the web, watching videos and playing games.

Paid for searching the web

Interested in earning cash for doing what you already do online? This has to be one of the easiest methods of making money online without really any effort or change in your behaviour.

This innovative idea by Qmee.com rewards you for searching in Google, Bing or Yahoo. You just install a simple add-on to your browser and when you conduct a search there may be a few sponsored results alongside your normal search.

Each Qmee result has a cash reward attached – if you are interested in it simply click on it and collect your reward.

The best thing is there is no minimum to cashout – our first one was just 72p wired to our Paypal account. You also have the option to donate it to charity..

Online market trading

Whilst this isn’t necessarily an easy way to make money, investing in stock markets can be lucrative if you learn to do it properly and safely. By the same token, you may suffer significant losses if you don’t take it seriously.

Today there is no need to fund the yachts of Wolf of Wall Street style stock brokers. You can do it all yourself with the help of online market trading platforms.

Having spent many hours researching this new opportunity, I’ve been experimenting with the two biggest platforms: Plus500 and eToro.com. Both offer free practice accounts.

Overall I prefer eToro with over 8 million users worldwide. It has been featured in a BBC 2 documentary “Traders: Millions by the Minute” and recently began sponsoring several Premier League football clubs.

Etoro trading

One of the best things on eToro is the CopyTrader feature. This lets you literally see, follow and copy the investments of other top performing traders.

Follow George’s complete guide to trading on eToro to learn more. I think $200 is a good amount to get the most out of the learning curve by trying out a few different markets. If nothing else you’ll learn a great deal about various investments and industries.

Please be aware that all trading involves risk. 75% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. This content is for educational purposes only and is not investment advice.

Start your own website

Interested in generating passive income? You need a website. It’s THE way to make money while you sleep.

Starting a website with Bluehost takes less than 20 minutes, costs hardly anything and can be done by an 82 year-old. It only takes a bit of plugging on social media to get your first visitors, and there are plenty of ways to monetise your site.

Save the Student is just one example of a successful website, started at university by Owen Burek in his first year, which has since grown into a full-time and sizable enterprise.

Read Owen’s step-by-step guide on how to start a website in 20 minutes. It’s really one of the best assets you can have.

Review websites & apps for cash

Well it seems like you’re pretty nifty with a web browser, so perhaps it’s time to turn pro and browse websites as a paid and fun job!

Introducing UserTesting.com – a new platform that pays everyday people to review all kinds of websites. Each review takes around 20 minutes and bags you $10 (£6.50) via Paypal.

Simply sign up here, complete a test review and look forward to receiving websites in your inbox.

The ‘Disney Vault’ secret

To keep demand high across generations, Disney Studios carefully restrict the supply of some home release classics. They are locked away in the ‘vault’ for 8-10 years before being released for a short unspecified time.

Buy them in this window at normal retail price and you can turn a nice profit when they go off sale for another decade or so.

For example, in 2011 you could buy Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray 3D for just £24.99. In just a couple of years it was on Amazon for a staggering £74.99!

Disney vault

Importantly, not all Disney releases are subject to the vault and only the true classics will maintain such demand.

Right now there are just 2 titles out of the vault which I would recommend snapping up. They are Bambi Diamond Edition Blu-ray and The Lion King Diamond Edition Blu-ray.

‘Get Paid To’ sites

Similar to making money from online surveys, GPT sites reward you in cash and vouchers for completing various offers or activities online.

The most popular sites today are Toluna, Swagbucks and InboxPounds.

Write and publish a Kindle eBook

If students are good at anything, it’s researching and writing. With the Amazon Kindle store, anyone can publish an eBook and make money.

And the Kindle app is now available on almost any device (laptops, iPads, smartphones and yes, Kindles) so your global market is huge!

List your book for £1.49 – £6.99 and you earn 70% of the sale. Considering Amazon is the ultimate selling machine (and remember people are looking to spend), that is a fantastic deal.

Kindle ebooks

The key to success with eBooks is to create value, and write non-fiction. Simply bundling information you have researched and compiled on a common problem (eg. ‘secrets’ to finding a job) and then presenting it in an easy to digest format (an eBook) justifies someone spending a few quid on it.

Another big tip is to have a great cover designed (browse these) so it stands out, and once your book is live on the Kindle store it’s really important to get some reviews so it shows up higher in results. Encourage readers to leave an honest review at the end of your book.

The best thing about this lucrative idea is that once you’ve invested the time (say 20 hours), you’ll earn a passive income for years to come! For a step-by-step guide to publishing and earning with eBooks, see “How to write a nonfiction eBook in 21 days”.

Affiliate marketing

awin affiliateIf you’ve got a good presence on social media or perhaps you even have a blog or website, you can start bringing in money immediately by promoting all sorts of companies, products, services and offers online.

Sign up as a publisher on the Awin network, check their offers blog or browse the merchant listings to find something you think your friends would be interested in, grab your affiliate link and share it. If someone buys (can be within up to 90 days) using your link you’ll make a nice commission.

To take it a step further, set up a website (read our guide) or a topical Facebook page and invite all your friends to join it and post your affiliate offers on there.

How to avoid unwarranted theft at your POS point

Criminal behavior is constantly changing in response to the methods designed to prevent it. Given technological advances, successfully robbing a bank is much more difficult than it used to be. And this holds true for any form of theft that requires the offender to be physically present.

The advent and proliferation of point of sales otherwise known as POS centres have recorded several cases of owners been robbed of their money while some even maimed and killed at the process of trying to defending their money. Criminals elements involving in this breach of security in POS centres were aware that nowadays the people prefer to do their transactions, send and receive money from POS to safe them from banking stress of long queue especially during the period of pandemic where you will have to wait longer to get your transactions done in the bank. However, because the men of the underworld were aware that these people received large cash so they often robbed and killed the operators. are an unavoidable aspect of the modern retail and restaurant industries.

The underlisted focus on how you can protect yourself from being rob or attacks while you carry out transactions to your customers.

You must first considered the security of your business because it’s involved cash.

As a POS operators desist from accepting funds transfer from people you do not know because majority people who came for money transfer might do illegal founds transfer into your account which may lead to police case and court litigations.

Avoid keeping large cash with you in your shop.

Don’t allowed customers to stay beyond necessary unchallenged while while attending to customers.

Don’t allow commercial motorcycle operators stand beside your POS centre.

Be secretive while discussing transactions of cash on phone conversations.

Ensure you employed trusted employer to man your POS centre don’t compromise standard.

Pay your employee well and good enough to discourage him from stealing your money or connive with criminal to rob you.

If you can afford it install close circuit television cameras CCTV in your shop.

For POS agents using Kiosks keep your customers away by Demarcation between you and prospect customers

People who make money from the following will be the next generation of billionaire and millionaire

I strongly believe you must have been wondering what this’s all about and are all caught in an inquisitive act, but the truth is that no matter what we think trends now either good or bad have a way in reshaping the future.

Well this is all about the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment (Science).

Before now, we have had of so many ways on how to work from home and earn good cash for ourselves, while some feel adamant about it other’s think it’s a total waste of time. I have heard a lot about Digital Marketing, Crypto Currency among it’s like, having invested some energy into it I would say it’s a good thing to try, all you have to do is to go through a verified means in other not to fall victim of fraudster.

Bringing science to the world of human and technology is no harm and therefore nothing less to think of especially in the world of Information Technology.

Furthermore, let me highlight some brainstorming and less physical stress sit at home duties you can engage in….

1. Blogging

How much do you know about blogging? In the early 2000’s opening a blog site stands at #5,000 compared to the regular website we all knew from Adam, but the truth is that most of us overlooked it, reason best known to us. But today, how much can you afford before you can host one.

Just one post can earn you a salary for the month and even double if it has a hige traffic pushed and this those not require the Boss waiting for you to be on time at work, no more queries among other thing that might come with working in a former working setting.

Take for instance, I can’t afford a blog site but very much passionate about reading and writing, why not try the Opera experience. Here you would indulge in writing and presentation of interest view articles.

On good thing about this is, it prepare you for what you never knew awaits you, it’s quite stressful and not easy to go about, but with time you will see reasons why you should. After nothing good comes easy, take your mind off the pay and focus on the game this will strengthen your insight and could motivate you to saving and owning your own blog site.

“The truth is the next generation of millionaires and billionaires would be people who made their money within the comfort of their homes while using their Laptops, phones and WiFi”.

2. Forestry

When I mention the word Forestry, I don’t mean the science and craft of creating, managing, using, conserving, and repairing forests, woodlands, and associated resources for human and environmental benefits. Forestry is practiced in plantations and natural stands.

Though this process has made lots of revenue generation for those practicing it, but huddling in the scope is one major important.

What I mean here is what most of us know to be FX or Foreign Exchange, “the conversation of one currency into another”.

Foreign Exchange can be explained as a network of buyers and sellers, who transfer currency between each other at an agreed price. It is the means by which individuals, companies and central banks convert one currency into another – if you have ever travelled abroad, then it is likely you have made a forex transaction.

While a lot of foreign exchange is done for practical purposes, the vast majority of currency conversion is undertaken with the aim of earning a profit. The amount of currency converted every day can make price movements of some currencies extremely volatile. It is this volatility that can make forex so attractive to traders

The FX trading is one of the most actively traded markets in the world with an average daily trading volume of $5 trillion, what this means is that the market is far too large to accommodate as many that are involved.

Note* involving in such trade comes with lots of benefits and painful experiences, so if you wish to be a partisan of this, you must have gone through proper training to lessen the risk involved or you either seek for a verified broker who could help you with your activities while you are at the comfort of your home or doing some other things you love doing.

3. Digital Marketing

Lot’s of name backing this but with same meaning and motive.

When I say digital marketing I mean any online marketing efforts or assets, either social media marketing, email marketing, pay per click marketing, which helps introduce people to your company and convince them to buy.

How you approach digital marketing can vary quite a bit depending on whatever your ultimate goal is to drive clicks, conversations or leads, sales, revenue or a certain Return On Investment (ROI).

There are scope and limit, it’s best advice to state your intentions and whom you feel are the kind of audience the wish to aim before starting, Digital Marketing works and is still working.

Blockchain and Crypto currency

As crypto currencies and blockchain technologies are becoming very popular these days, most youths and teenagers are queuing into it. Some of them have a glimpse of what the Crypto market hold’s for the future While some of them don’t… In this article you’re going you’re going to find out what Crypto currency and Blockchain is and what they hold for the future.

Let’s get started…

What Is a Cryptocurrency?

A cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that is secured by cryptography, which makes it nearly impossible to counterfeit or double-spend. Many cryptocurrencies are decentralized networks based on blockchain technology—a distributed ledger enforced by a disparate network of computers. A defining feature of cryptocurrencies is that they are generally not issued by any central authority, rendering them theoretically immune to government interference or manipulation.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

A cryptocurrency is a new form of digital asset based on a network that is distributed across a large number of computers. This decentralized structure allows them to exist outside the control of governments and central authorities.

The word “cryptocurrency” is derived from the encryption techniques which are used to secure the network.

Blockchains, which are organizational methods for ensuring the integrity of transactional data, is an essential component of many cryptocurrencies.

Many experts believe that blockchain and related technology will disrupt many industries, including finance and law.

Cryptocurrencies face criticism for a number of reasons, including their use for illegal activities, exchange rate volatility, and vulnerabilities of the infrastructure underlying them. However, they also have been praised for their portability, divisibility, inflation resistance, and transparency.

Understanding Cryptocurrencies

Cryptocurrenciesare systems that allow for the secure payments online which are denominated in terms of virtual “tokens,” which are represented by ledger entries internal to the system. “Crypto” refers to the various encryption algorithms and cryptographic techniques that safeguard these entries, such as elliptical curve encryption, public-private key pairs, and hashing functions.

BLOCKCHAIN IS MOST SIMPLY DEFINED AS A DECENTRALIZED, DISTRIBUTED LEDGER TECHNOLOGY THAT RECORDS THE PROVENANCE OF A DIGITAL ASSET.

What is Blockchain Technology?

Blockchain, sometimes referred to as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), makes the history of any digital asset unalterable and transparent through the use of decentralization and cryptographic hashing.

A simple analogy for understanding blockchain technology is a Google Doc. When we create a document and share it with a group of people, the document is distributed instead of copied or transferred. This creates a decentralized distribution chain that gives everyone access to the document at the same time. No one is locked out awaiting changes from another party, while all modifications to the doc are being recorded in real-time, making changes completely transparent.

Of course, blockchain is more complicated than a Google Doc, but the analogy is apt because it illustrates three critical ideas of the technology:

BLOCKCHAIN EXPLAINED: A QUICK OVERVIEW

Digital assets are distributed instead of copied or transferred.

The asset is decentralized, allowing full real-time access.

A transparent ledger of changes preserves integrity of the document, which creates trust in the asset.

Blockchain is an especially promising and revolutionary technology because it helps reduce risk, stamps out fraud and brings transparency in a scaleable way for myriad uses.

How Blockchain is Revolutionizing Content Distribution

The revolutionary technology blockchain began with cryptocurrencies like bitcoin but has since expanded beyond the worlds of finance and banking. With a slew of new businesses and applications built on the technology, these industries now represent a mass decentralization that will soon impact the whole world. Blockchain helps distribute the cost of running a platform to its various participants, but rewards them for it in equal measure.

This decentralized model is already relevant for blockchain-based solutions such as cloud storage, payment processing, and cybersecurity. Increasingly, however, the technology also plays a key role in the content distribution arena.

To many, this is a better deal than the old ways, which saw control and profits stay in the hands of content hosting companies rather than the content creators themselves. Blockchain can significantly disrupt this imbalanced status quo, and seeks to put the power back in the hands those who create and consume content.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Though blockchain technology began with cryptocurrencies, it has expanded into other industries and areas, including content distribution.

Flixxo is an example of a decentralized content distribution service in which users earn cryptocurrency tokens for sharing videos across the network.

The traditional model of content distribution tends to favor distributors over creators; blockchain technology may eventually level the playing field.

Turning the Tables

In return for security, hosting and distribution, users of services like YouTube allow the company to profit from their content. While YouTube stars can earn a healthy living from attracting viewers to their channel, there is no doubt that many of the profits don’t end up in their pockets. It might not seem like a bad deal to some, however. YouTube is an immensely popular destination on the internet, and gives creators a reliable, high-volume platform for free. They also handle the logistics required for creators to simply focus on what they do best.

Blockchain is turning the tables on this model. Flixxo, a decentralized content distribution platform, allows creators to offer their content to very specialized audiences, who pay cryptocurrency tokens to fund and enjoy their projects. To earn Flixxo tokens, participants in Flixxo simply make the videos on their computer available to the network, much like the peer-to-peer service BitTorrent. Whether these are the indie favorites of the filmmakers they’ve subscribed to or triple-A titles is irrelevant. This decentralized crowdfunding and hosting solution is offloading the costs of running the network on the users, but also making it more lucrative and rewarding to take part.

Blockchain-based solutions also have all essential security needs covered. Because of its networked nature, blockchain is impervious to hackers who can only reach a single node and not affect functionality for a whole network. Thanks to decentralized hosting and encryption, the system is entirely self-sustained.

Long life: See the condition given by God for you to live long on earth

God’s single condition for you to live long on earth

Do you know that out of the ten commandments God gave Moses to guide the children of Israel, one of the commandments has a blessing attached?

Most times, we see so many youths living wayward lives, engaging in immorality, dangerous lifestyles, etc and at the end, their lives are cut short.

We sometimes wonder why so many people with promising future end up on the wrong side of destruction.

Permit me to say that this may be as a result of disobedience to the only commandment of God with a blessing.

Here are the 10 commandments of God that must be obeyed by every creatures on earth:

1. Thou shall have no other gods before me: God is a jealous God and He doesn’t take it likely with those who worship other gods.

2. Thou shall not make unto you any graven image: God has sternly warned us never to carve any image out of clay, wood, etc as symbols of a god and then worship it.

3. Thou shall not use the name of the Lord thy God in vain: Never for any reason use the name of God to swear, jest or for vain things. It is very disrespectful of anyone who does such.

4. Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy: God is a holy God and anyone that wants to have a relationship with Him must walk in holiness. He has enjoined us to keep the holy day which is Sunday holy and free from sin.

5. Honour your father and mother so that your day will be long on earth: This is the only commandment with a blessing attached to it. Our parents are our guardians. We must obey them in the Lord. Never disrespect your parents or anyone old enough to be your parent. If you do this, your live will be automatically elongated on earth.

6. Thou shall not kill: God frowns against taking lives of others. Remember in the Bible how God placed a grave curse on Cain for killing his brother Abel? Anyone who takes the live of another is in danger of God’s wrath and will also be killed one way or the other.

7. Thou shall not commit adultery: Adultery is an immoral act between a married woman with another married man who is not her husband. It could also be having an affair outside your marriage. God frowns against defiling the holy institution of marriage which He created from the beginning. Fornication falls under this category too.

8. Thou shall not steal: God hates stealing and has warned us against taking other people’s belongings through theft.

9. Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbour: Testifying falsely against one’s neigbour is a sin in the sight of God. We are do desist from false accusations against others just to put them in trouble.

10. Thou shall not covet: Do not be covetous. God hates the sin of covetousness. In the Bible, David coveted his neighbour Uriah’s wife, even to the extent of planning the death of Uriah so that he can claim his wife. God dealt with David greatly for such wicked act. Don’t yearn for things belonging to others. Rather pray that God gives you the means to get yours.

God has given us the opportunity to read His commandments again. Let’s strive at all times to obey all His commandments.

Remember, the number 5 commandment above. Long life awaits anyone who obey his father and mother.

May God grant you the grace to obey His commandments.

Bible study

All too often, our church members don’t feel comfortable asking someone if they would like to have a Bible study. One of the main reasons for this, is because they are afraid they won’t have all of the answers to all of the questions that the person may ask about the Bible. Many people today want to teach Bible studies to their friends and families, but oftentimes, don’t know how to teach a Bible study, what teaching materials to use or lack the experience to feel confident enough to teach one.

One idea to overcome this, is to use the mid-week service to teach your church how to teach a Bible study. In most cases, the people that show up for the mid-week service are the core of the church.  They are usually the more “spiritually mature” of your saints. Also, when teaching on how to teach a Bible study, let them know which Bible studies you recommend for them to teach.  This will give them confidence to teach a Bible study and when they find one that they feel comfortable sharing with someone, they will be more apt and better prepared to teach.

You can use this outline to teach them how to teach a Bible study:

Psalm 119:89  “Forever O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”

Psalm 119:161:162  “..but my heart standeth in awe of thy word….as one that findeth great spoil(treasure)”

Psalm 119:11  “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Establish at the beginning of the study the importance of the “whole” Bible:

        1)     1 Tim. 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…

        2)    The Word of God is true! From cover to cover!

A few things to remember when preparing for your study:

  • Always bring two Bibles; one for you and one for your student. (Remember, this is a Bible study!)
  • Be on time!
  • Breath mints are good!
  • Choose a Bible Study that teaches on one of these topics:

        1)    Doctrine

        2)    Oneness

        3)     Church History

  • After these studies, you should teach a longer Bible Study. (10 or 12 week course)

Here are a few examples of longer Bible Studies:

        1)    Search For Truth 2

        2)    The Way, the Truth, The Life

        3)    Exploring God’s Word

Don’t be intimidated by questions that you don’t have an answer for.

Use these questions as a way to set up your next Bible Study. (Ex. I don’t know the answer to that question, but tell you what, I’ll do some research, maybe talk to Pastor, and when we meet for our next Bible study, I’ll have the answer for you.)

  • Pray before you start the study.
  • If you can avoid it, try not to teach the opposite sex alone.
  • Don’t get caught up in debates.

You will hardly ever win anyone to Christ while debating. When I go fishing, if I “de-bait,” I will never catch any fish!  We are to be fishers of men!

  • Teach with a loving and understanding heart.
  • Frequently ask your student if they are ready to be baptized.

The whole goal for teaching Bible studies is to draw them closer to a relationship with Jesus!

  • Know the basics of your Bible!

        1)    How many books (66)

        2)    Where certain books are found in the Bible.

        3)    Where frequently quoted scriptures are found. (Ex. John 3:16)

  • Take turns reading during the Bible study.

This will get the student more involved in the Bible study and also get them acquainted with their Bible.

Be yourself and let God use you!

Loan application, applicants take note.

I have realized that many Nigerian youths are actually interested in taking advantage of the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) scheme, which is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development funded by the Central Banks of Nigerian (CBN), to become self employed, independent and productive in the economy but are really finding it difficult to proceed with the application after receiving the pre-qualification message from the co-ordination body. I have also suffered the same fate but eventually succeeded. It is with the to help those who are yet to complete their application that I decided to write this article, to keep them informed of the various aspect of the form they will fill at each stage and how to overcome the network hick-up. This explanation is basically for the benefit of those who have been pre-qualified for the scheme and have received the message either via SMS or e-mail. How ever, for those whose pre-qualification message is still hanging, I will begin the explanation from a lenient stage to help them prompt the link into their registered phone number of e-mail. But before I go down the main gist, I must tell you that the pages of the site are very hard to crack. How I made my way through was by clicking severally. It worked like magic for me and I had hitch free registration. Of course, you must exercise patience at each stage. So, let us go to the steps involved.

Step 1: Login to the NYIF porter (https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng) on your browser. Preferably, use the Chrome browser. Once that is done, you will be taken to the home page, as shown below.

You can see three commands (Apply Here, Loan Application and Login) above. If you have not confirmed your email and created your user password, then you need to start from/with the Loan Application command.

Step 2: Click the Loan Application button, then you will be taken to the page shown below, where you would be required to input your BVN for verification and Validation. Once you have typed in you BVN, click the VALIDATE BVN button.

Once that is done, you will be taken to the next page as shown below. The only thing you need to do here is to create your user password as every other information about you is automatically generated from your BVN data.

Step 3: Once you have entered your desired password and confirmed it in the second box, click the Create Account button. You will be then taken to the confirmation page as shown below.

Step 4: At this point, you will now go to your email to confirm/verify your email account used in creating the account. Click on the link enclosed in the mail. Then you will be taken to the User Login Page where you will be required to enter your email/BVN/Phone number and the Password you created earlier to login to your account to continue your application. Once that is done, click the Login button and you will be taken to your Dash Board.

Then from your dash board, select the continue application command. Once that is done, you will be taken to the page as shown below.

In this page, you are required to describe the nature of your business after you have selected the most suitable Business Sector and Enterprise Type in which your line of business belong. Once this is done, click next, then you will be taken to the page below.

STEP 5: In this page, you will have to provide your Account name and number (linked to your provided BVN), tell them why you need the loan (in the Loan Purpose box), the amount you want (in the Proposed Loan Amount box), the loan tenor and moratorium. Once you have done these, click next. Then you will be taken to the page below where you will be required to provide such information like your average monthly earnings, expenses, net profit, your average annual income, operating expenses and net profit, etc. Once you have provided these information, click next. Then you will be taken to the Acceptance of Terms and Condition page.

Step 6: This is the submission stage. At this stage, click the square box to accept the terms and conditions after providing information as to how you came to know about the scheme in the box above. Once you have done that successfully, then you have applied for the loan. Your dash board will now look like what you see in the image below.

The next step is to be checking Review Other Letter folder always to see if your loan has been approved. But upon submission, if you click it, what you will see is the information below.

But don’t fill bad. Once you have applied successfully and your information meet the selection criteria, you would definitely get the loan.

I believe this articles will guide you well. Follow us for more update on the NYIF Loan scheme.

Know the ten dark secrets in marriage

The 10 Dark Secrets in Marriage You Should Know

The 10 Dark Secrets in Marriage You Should Know.

Secret 1

Everyone you marry has a weakness. Only God does not have a weakness. So if you focus on your spouse’s weakness you can’t get the best out of his/her strength.

Secret 2

Everyone has a dark history. No one is an angel. When you get married or you want to get married, stop digging into someone’s past. What matters most is the present life of your partner. Old things have passed away. Forgive and forget. Focus on the present and the future.

Secret 3

Every marriage has its own challenges. Marriage is not a bed of roses. Every good marriage has gone through its own test of blazing fire. True love proves in times of challenges. Fight for your marriage. Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in times of need. Remember the vow: For better for worse. In sickness and in health be there.

Secret 4

Every marriage has different levels of success. Don’t compare your marriage with that of any one else. We can never be equal. Some will be far, some behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time your marriage dreams shall come true.

Secret 5

To get married is declaring war. When you get married you must declare war against enemies of marriage. Some enemies of marriage are:

Ignorance
Prayerlessness
Unforgiveness
Third-party influence
Stinginess
Stubbornness
Lack of love
Rudeness
Laziness
Disrespect
Cheating etc.
Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage zone.

Secret 6

There is no perfect marriage. There is no ready-made marriage. Marriage is hard work. Volunteer yourself to work daily on it. Marriage is like a car that needs proper maintenance and proper service. If this is not done it will break down somewhere exposing the owner to danger, or some unhealthy circumstances. Let us not be careless about our marriages.

Secret 7

God cannot give you the complete person you desire. He gives you the person in the form of raw materials in order for you to mold the person into what you desire. This can only be achieved through prayer, love, and Patience

Secret 8

Getting married is taking a huge risk. You can not predict what will happen in the future. Situations may change so leave room for adjustments. The husband can lose his good job or you may fail to have babies. All these require you to be prayerful otherwise you might divorce.

Secret 9

Marriage is not a contract. It is permanent. It needs total commitment. Love is the glue that sticks the couple together. Divorce starts in the mind and the devil feeds the mind. Never ever entertain thoughts of getting a divorce. Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married. God hates divorce.

Secret 10

Every marriage has a price to pay. Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money that you deposit that you withdraw. If you don’t deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate for a blissful home.

So today let us pray for our marriages. Send to those you care about because you never know who you may be helping. May God bless you all. Amen.

The Njaba river in Imo State

For travellers on the Owerri-Onitsha expressway, Njaba is that stretch of water body which slashes through the belly of Awo-Omamma town in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State. Some would also remember it as that river which allegedly defied all efforts by Julius Berger to build a bridge across it until some sacrifices (human, some say) were made to pacify the river god. For travellers on the Orlu-Owerri road in Imo State, on the other hand, it is that river which forms the borderline between Umuaka and Okwudo communities in Njaba LGA. While these descriptions are not totally wrong, the truth, however, is that Njaba is bigger than what people see or say.

Njaba has its source in Isunjaba in the present day Isu LGA of Imo State. According to certain oral traditions, the name Isunjaba is a mispronunciation of the original Isi Njaba (the source of Njaba) by the European colonial masters who came to the town in the early years of the 20th century.

Another version of the traditions of origin of the people, however, says that Njaba is also the birth-place of Isunjaba people. According to this version which gives the people autochthonous status, Chukwu Abiama (the Supreme God) created the Njaba River, and out of the river emerged a man named Njaba. God then gave Njaba a wife named Lolo. The union of Njaba and Lolo produced a male child whom the couple called Isu; hence, Isu Njaba (Isu, the son of Njaba).

Originating from a certain rock in the Isunjaba-Amucha valley, Njaba River flows from there, circuitous like a snake, through Ubah village in Isunjaba (where it is called Iyi Ubah), stretches further through Ekwe until it bursts out at the borderline between Umuaka and Okwudo along Orlu-Owerri road, continues through tiny villages until it explodes again at Awo-Omamma along Onitsha-Owerri road. There, it crosses the road and flows endlessly through Awa community in Oguta L.G.A. until it merges with Urashi River in Oguta to form one water body which finally empties itself into the Niger River from where it continues to only-God-knows-where.

Njaba is also a deity. Its totem is Eke Njaba (the sacred python). Eke Njaba is a welcome visitor in the home of every Isu man, and it is usually treated with the warmest hospitality. Sometimes sacrifices are made to herald its visit. At other times eggs and chicks are offered to it because by so doing, it is believed that the supplicant is placing himself in a position to obtain favour from the deity. Tradition forbids anyone, indigene and visitor alike, to raise a hand against it or to kill it. Anyone who violates the tradition, willingly or accidentally, must accord the snake a befitting burial surpassing that of a titled man to cleanse the land he has polluted. The alternative punishment is ostracism.

However, much of the above practices have been overtaken by Christianity. Some Christians, in their overzealousness to eradicate all forms of what they tagged heathenism, began to kill Eke Njaba with reckless abandon. This gave rise to a popular chant among the people: “Eke gbalaga, ndi choochi abiala igbu gi”, which translates as “Eke flee for your life, the Christians are coming to kill you”. And, in order to save its species from extinction, and as if responding to the call to alert by the people, Eke Njaba has retreated far into the forests along the Njaba valley such that today, it is very rarely seen at all, let alone within the vicinity of human habitation.

NYIF Email Verification

The complaint about email verification for Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) may not really be new to the pre-qualified applicants who have received their SMS messages.

NYIF is a government initiative created to boost the Nigerian economy through leverage and access to finance for the youths. It promises to empower every successful applicant with N200,000 to N500,000 inorder to expand or start up a business. This is believed to be a means of reducing unemployment among the youths.

Few days or over a week ago, some lucky applicants started receiving SMS messages telling them that they have been pre-qualified for the programme. According to the message, what they needed to do only was to validate their Bank Verification Number (BVN), inorder to receive email verification link to complete their registrations.

But it was really confusing that even after validating the BVN, it will tell you that your registration was successful, that you should check your email for verification inorder to continue; but when you check your email, you won’t see any message. Even if you validate for more than 10 times, you will still not see anything.

This generated a lot of worries from pre-qualified applicants who were already smiling at the message, but there was no email verification to continue their registration.

This also disturbed my peace, as I also waited for days, hoping to see the email verification but all to no avail. When I got information that it could be because of much traffic on their website, I decided to employ another strategy.

Then See What I Did

I woke in the midnight yesterday being Saturday by 2.00am, and validated my BVN again. After trying this for up to three times without seeing any email, I annoyingly went back to sleep.

Surprisingly, when I woke today’s morning being Sunday, I checked my email, and discovered they’ve even sent the link by 9.00pm yesterday. I was even surprised that I got three email links from them, maybe because I tried it three times when I was validating my email in the midnight yesterday.

Below is the email they sent

Now I have been able to login and complete my registration.

The reason I tried validating my BVN in the mid night was because there would be few people accessing the website by then, hence I believe the system would face less stress and traffic then, and can easily attend to me.

This method my not really be 100% guaranteed, but you can try it to know if it can work for you as it worked for me.👍

See what successful people possess

Successful people have two things on their lips.
smile and silence”.
Smile can solve problem while Silence can avoid problems.
Sugar and salt may be mixed together but ants reject the salt and carry away only the sugar.
Select the right people in life and make your life better and sweeter. If you fail to achieve your dreams, change your ways not your God.
Remember, trees change their leaves and not their roots.
You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones to every dog that barks.
Haters will see you walking on water and say its because you can’t swim. Even if you dance on water, your enemies will accuse you of raising dust.
Make it your ambition to live a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands.
Remember, don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it. —
Have a glorious day.

Gospel: Story! Story!!

Once upon a time, there was a very strong soldier. He has never lost a battle and his riffle (gun) is always serviceable and working perfectly well. He is known to be a sharp shooter and had never missed his target before. He conquered many domain single-handly, infact he was made a major general. One day, he dressed up for war as usual, he armed himself from head to toe, even his eyeballs was covered, after a walk for hours he was tired and decided to rest on a tree, few minutes later he started feeling something walking inside his armor (clothes).
Behold it was an “ANT”, the very first thing he did was to throw away his gun in less than an hour he has undressed himself totally, the bullet proof, the helmet, the shoes, all taken off from his body remaining his pants… A whole major general?
While he trying to escape from the 🐜 ant something very fatal happened… His enemy met him there and gunned him down. A major general died like an ordinary civilian… Why? because of an ordinary tiny microscopic ant 🐜 ant.
Dear Christian soldier, beware of the 🐜 ant… They may be very irrelevant and little. However, they naked a whole major general. Read 2 Tim 2:1-7
The 🐜 ant here is … secret sin or silent sin… Just small lie, ordinary anger, small pride, lust, little falsification of record, “I only pecked, I did not fornicate” … Just ordinary malice, common sex, just small stealing etc All the “just” put together are the 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 ants.
Dear Christian soldier beware of the ant, it may be very small and irrelevant but so deadly and dangerous… How can one escape from an ant…???
The hard way is the only way and the only way out is … don’t stop walking, don’t take a rest yet… don’t get tired on the battlefield… The best place to rest is the secret place of the most high God. When the going gets tougher, the tougher ones gets going 😭🤔 Think about your life and amend it now or never again.
Pls don’t forget to send this message to all the soldiers of the cross. Thanks for reading this article, till we all meet at the right hand side of God.
Jesus is coming soon👑

The part of an Airplane that no passenger ever get to see

Airplanes are often crowded and cramped with airlines doing everything possible to maximize the amount of seats available for purchase. Still, it is necessary for flight attendants and pilots to have a place on board to rest. These places are called crew rest compartments, or CRCs.

CRCs are vastly different from one plane to another, depending on the amount of space that is available for them to use. Regardless of their size, each CRC is equipped with (at the very least) comfortable beds for them to catch a quick 40 winks. Yet, some other planes offer much more!

crc2

Giant aircrafts like the Boeing 787 offer spacious CRCs for their flight attendants, with individual cabins that can sleep up to five flight attendants. The pilots on a Boeing 787 have their own private, two-person CRC where they can go when they need to rest up.

crc3

You might expect that because these CRCs are inside of airplanes, the bedding would not be particularly comfortable, but that’s far from being true. This flight attendant is more than six feet tall, and he can stretch out in his CRC with comfort and ease.

crcc

So, where exactly are these secret CRC chambers located onside of an airplane? It can vary from aircraft to aircraft. Below you will see a photo of an A350 aircraft where there are two CRCs: one for the pilots and one for the cabin crew. They are located at the front and the rear of the plane above the seats.

0airplanecrc-006

Some of the CRCs for shorter flights with smaller aircrafts are limited to having just one break compartment, but even that can be a cozy escape from the rigors of flying the friendly skies. This CRC is located behind and beneath the pilot’s seat at the front of the aircraft.

plane

Here is an overhead view of a designer’s rendering of a five-person CRC for a standard airplane. This CRC doesn’t just come with beds and pillows. It provides each crew member with a curtain for privacy and a TV to watch, just in case sleep doesn’t come right away.

plane

To give you a better sense of where your crew is sleeping during those long overnight flights, here’s a rendering where the side of the plane has been removed to make it easier for you to see the two small sleeping compartments where flight attendants can rest overhead.

plane crc

On some planes, the CRCs are fancier than others and they provide space for the resting crew to do more than just sleep. This pilots’ CRC contains two reclining seats for the pilots to sit in and rest in addition to the two berths behind the chairs.

plane crc1

Some designers have really started to explore ways to make CRCs even more comfortable for the crews during extra long flights. This overhead rendering shows that by bunking the berths you can have extra space for things like a shower.

plane quarters

This rendering of a CRC looks less like something you would find on a plane and more like something you would find on a spaceship in some futuristic movie about space travel! The stacked berths really make great use of the space available on the plane.

sleeping plane

The side view of this rendering shows two stacked sets of berths, a TV, and phone unit built into the wall, and also gives you a peek at the jump seat that can be used by flight attendants who are taking a break but don’t necessarily want to lie down.

plane

Looking at these CRCs makes you really rethink everything you thought you knew about how airplanes worked. You might have to make sure your stuff fits inside an overhead bin, but for the people working the flight, there is an entire closet in their CRC!

plane sleeping

This CRC looks like an old photograph taken of a sleeper car on a train. When we think of sleeping on planes we usually imagine neck pillows and uncomfortable angles, or overpriced first class seats. However, these tidy berths have been available to the crew since commercial flight began.

plane sleeping

On private planes, the CRCs can be as ornate and over the top as the private quarters of the people who own the plane itself. Take a look at this queen size bed in the fancy CRC reserved for the use of the pilot during their breaks on this private plane.

planecrc

This two person berth doesn’t just have comfortable and cute looking beds; it’s got built-in features like a TV, a telephone that will help them reach other crew members, and a screen where they can monitor activity in the main cabin during the flight.

plane

This is another five-person Boeing 787 berth located at the top rear of the massive airliner. It is accessible only to crew members. To access it they must crouch through a small door and then climb a series of spiral steps. There’s very little distinction between beds and flooring here, so no shoes are allowed.

plane

Though two pilots very rarely, if ever, share the pilots’ CRC on any major aircraft, pains are still taken to make sure that each person is made to feel like they have as much privacy as possible, even if the CRC itself doesn’t really allow for two full separate cabins.
